Veneer procedure at Udental Clinic
Step 1: Examination and consultation
- Note down the technical statistics of the natural teeth and the face.
- Consultation about adjustment (if needed) about shape, size of teeth or smile line.
- Impression to copy the original jaw.
Step 2: Minimized adjustment on enamel surface
- In one session, the required preparation processes will done on teeth with high accuracy that will be measure by 1/10 millimeter. This can be done with or without anesthetic injection.
- In the same session, your dentist will make a model of your both jaws’ teeth.
- Temporary veneers may be needed right after this session in some particular cases.
The rest of the process lasts around one week. The models will be sent to the dental laboratory where veneers would be made as thin porcelain shells by CAD/CAM technology and will be placed in furnace or scraping on porcelain block made in EU in order to make the most beautiful, shiny and transparency ones, and similar to dental enamel layer.
Step 3: Try on and delivery of veneers
- In clinic, veneers are tried on the teeth to check the color, shape, size as well as the smile line.
- Then they will be attached on the teeth surface by very strong bonding material.
